§ 62. Sir David Rentonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how much has so far been paid into the Common Agricultural Fund since the United Kingdom joined the EEC, and how much has become due from it to Her Majesty's Government or subjects by way of price support, grants, loans and in other ways, including payments which have become due but have not yet actually been paid.
§ Mr. BishopMember States contribute to the overall expenditure of the Community and information is not available on how much of our United Kingdom contributions has been used to meet expenditure under the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund.
United Kingdom expenditure borne by the Guarantee Section on market regulation under the common agricultural policy between 1st February 1973 and 31st October 1974 was £146.4 million. In addition, the Guidance Section is committed to pay £8.3 million in grants towards United Kingdom individual projects under the Community's 1973 programme. No decisions have yet been taken by the European Commission about the 1974 programme. The United Kingdom expects also to receive payments from the Guidance Section towards the cost of schemes made in pursuance of various EEC Directives and Regulations.
