§ Mr. Goldingasked the Secretary of State for Trade what payment the British Airways Board has made to him for 1973–74 in consideration of the public dividend capital it has received.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisThe board has made a payment of £6,133,500 for 1973–74 in pursuance of Section 43(2) of the Civil Aviation Act 1971. This payment represents a dividend of 4½ per cent. on the public dividend capital totalling £136.3 million which was outstanding at 31st March 1974.
