asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will consider issuing a recommendation to local authorities in Scotland to provide some reserved parking spaces for disabled people with cars close to shopping areas and to publicise more widely the regulations concerning the issuing of badges to disabled drivers made under the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 and subsequent regulations.

Yes. My right hon. Friend expects to do so as soon as we have completed consultations about extending the orange badge scheme.
