37. Mr. Stoddart

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, if he is aware that students from the Channel Islands attending further education establishments in Great Britain are susbsidised by United Kingdom taxpayers; and if he will now consider charging the Channel Islands authorities the full costs of further education facilities used by their citizens in the United Kingdom.

Yes. Fees in further education, including the position of Channel Islands students, are currently under review.
