§ Mr. EnnalsDuring the past 12 months Deputy Under-Secretaries of State in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office have used FCO Pool vehicles for their diplomatic duties on 318 occasions when the use of public transport or their own cars was impracticable. The corresponding figures for Assistant Under-Secretaries of State and Heads of Department in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office are 150 and 321 respectively.
