asked the Secretary of State for Energy what further proposals for economy in the use of oil he proposes to introduce.

I would ask my right hon. Friend to await the statement my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State hopes to make soon. If in the meantime he, or indeed any other hon. Member, has suggestions to make I would be happy to consider them.
