§ Mr. Harold WalkerI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that 257W on 30th September 1974 there were 1,484 operational places available for training at skillcentres in Scotland. The following table analyses them by trade group. It is not possible to provide an industrial analysis as trainees in a particular occupation may go to a number of different industries. Most courses last six months though some are longer. Skillcentres in Scotland are at present capable of providing TOPS training for approximately
