§ Mr. Robert C. BrownThe disposal of Army surplus stocks is a continuous process but the most recent major sale was held by public auction, at Bicester on 5th November 1974. This sale included 350 separate lots of clothing. They comprised a wide range of items including greatcoats, raincoats, khaki drill shorts, battledress blouses, other jackets and trousers, jerseys, cotton vests, shirts and overalls.
