§ Mr. Hugh JenkinsThere were 2,830 full-time youth workers, including joint teacher/youth leader appointments, on 31st December 1973, the latest date for which information is available. There is no national establishment but vacancies and new posts forecast for 1974 totalled 685. Part-time appointments are not recorded. Advertising costs are met by individual training institutions and prospective employers.
