§ Rev. Ian Paisleyasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what action he has taken in regard to notification of mass resignations of junior doctors from the health service in Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. OrmeThere has been no official notification of resignations by junior doctors in Northern Ireland. Proposals for revised contracts for hospital junior doctors are being discussed nationally and action in Northern Ireland will depend upon the outcome of these discussions. I am keeping in close touch with the situation.
