Mr. Gwynfor Evans

asked the Attorney-General what members from Wales have been appointed to the Lord Chancellor's advisory committee on training for England and Wales; and how many of them are Welsh-speaking.

My noble Friend has appointed as a member Mr. D. W. Jones-Williams, OBE, MC, TD, who has had considerable experience of the training of magistrates in Wales. Mr. Jones-Williams speaks Welsh fluently and was a member of the Committee on the Legal Status of the Welsh Language which reported in 1965.
