HC Deb 11 November 1974 vol 881 cc19-20W
Mr. Ron Lewis

asked the Minister for the Civil Service if an entry is made on the record of any member of the Civil Service, who raises a matter with his Member of Parliament; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Charles R. Morris

There is no central instruction on this matter. It is not normally the practice to make a note on a civil servant's personal file unless the matter relates to his own official position or the business of the Department. If my hon. Friend has a particular case in mind, I should be happy to look into it.
