§ Mr. Biffenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how much domestically-produced milk has been used for the manufacture of cheese during the latest available three months; how this compares with the corresponding period a year ago; and if it remains the policy of the Government to increase the home-produced share of total cheese consumption.
§ Mr. StrangThe quantity of milk used for the manufacture of cheese in the United Kingdom in the three months July-September 1974 was 135.3 million gallons, compared with 96.6 million gallons in the corresponding period last year.
