HC Deb 11 November 1974 vol 881 c28W
Mr. Warren

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why, in collaboration with the Export Credits Guarantee Department, he is seeking to impose three-year credit limitations on British aerospace exports to United States customers.

Mr. Dell

We are not proposing to act as suggested. International discussions are certainly in progress about limiting, on a multilateral basis, the length of export credit to be given to certain markets. But there is no question of the United Kingdom offering terms which put exporters at a competitive disadvantage.
