§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if his Department has received revised plans for improvements to the New Cumnock swimming pool; and if he will now allow this project to start, given that it was approved in principle in November 1973.
§ Mr. William RossRevised plans were received on 17th October and are now being considered. As my hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State for Health and Education explained in his letter of 25th July, present restrictions on public expenditure make it impossible to authorise a start in 1974–75. I cannot yet say whether a start can be authorised in 1975–76.
