Mr. Newton

asked the Secretary of State for Trade how many company liquidations there were in each year for the last 10 years; and how many in each month of 1974 to the latest available date.

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will arrange for his Department to publish monthly statistics of the number of company liquidations.

Annual statistics of company liquidations are already published. Some monthly and quarterly figures are available and these are supplied on request. Regular publication at more frequent intervals is being considered.
