asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what was the price per ton of wheat, oats and barley—home grown—in Great Britain in the months of September and October in 1972, 1973 and 1974, respectively; and what was the price of the same cereals ex-quay at the same time in Great Britain.

The average prices per ton paid to growers for home-grown wheat, oats and barley in Great Britain were as follows:

Ireland in the spring and early summer of 1975.

That will depend upon the circumstances in which any surplus arises. The measures taken last season were to meet a particular set of circumstances, and should not be regarded as setting a pattern for the future.
