§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT those wages councils whose orders show women's rates to be less than 80 per cent. of men's rates at the latest convenient date.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerThe Fur Wages Council, although it provides for equal pay in the furriers' section, still fixes women's rates at 71 per cent. of the men's in the fur sorters' and dressers' and dyers' sections. I understand that the council will be meeting shortly to consider the matter.
