asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT details of the water rates for measured and non-measured supplies immediately prior to and after the operation of the Water Act 1973 for each county in England.

Information is not available by counties but I will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT as soon as possible comparable information for water supply areas as they existed before 1st April 1974.
