§ Mr. Denis HowellAn interdepartmental working group was set up in March to consider the appropriate form and scope of machinery to co-ordinate the activities of all the interests concerned in waste management. Particular emphasis is being given to the reclamation and recycling of materials. The recommendations of the working group on the establishment of a waste management advisory council are now being considered.
