§ Mr. Hugh JenkinsNo. I am informed that the offer to purchase the manuscript on behalf of a public collection, to which I referred in replies on 15th March and 29th March to Questions from my hon. Friend the Member for Warley, East (Mr. Faulds)—[Vol. 870, c.9–10 and Vol. 871, c. 219]— is being withdrawn. No other source of funds is known at present. The issue of an export licence is under contemplation.
