asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what is the cost per week of keeping an inmate in (1) the Maze, (2) MacGilligan Camp, (3) Armagh Prison, and (4) Crumlin Road Prison.

The average cost per week of keeping an inmate in each prison in the financial year 1972–73, including items of current expenditure but excluding capital costs, was £46.48.
