HC Deb 24 May 1974 vol 874 cc323-4W
Mr. Bruce-Gardyne

asked the Prime Minister if he will take steps to ensure that the Secretaries of State for Trade, Industry, Energy, the Environment and Employment and their respective junior Ministers are made aware of the lines of demarcation between their respective Departments so that Parliamentary Questions and correspondence from hon. Members do not have to be redirected or transferred between them more than once.

The Prime Minister

The division of responsibility between my right hon. Friends is clear. If the hon. Member has any particular complaints about the way in which Questions or items of correspondence have been handled, I suggest that he raises them with the Ministers concerned so that they can be investigated.
