§ Mr. Kinnockasked the Secretary of State for Industry what plans are under consideration for industrial development at the Nine Mile Point Colliery site at Cwenfelinfach, Monmouthshire.
§ Mr. HefferIn January 1973 the previous administration announced their intention to build an advance factory at Cwmfelinfach. It subsequently appeared that the site at Nine Mile Point colliery might be unsuitable due to geological reasons. Following extensive investigation this has been found not to be the case, and the Department is proceeding to acquire five acres for the factory mentioned.
