§ 2. Mr. Hoosonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will seek to ascertain to what extent raw materials for feeding stuffs for cattle have been imported which have been rejected at continental ports; and whether he is satisfied with the safeguards that exist in respect of imported feeding stuffs.
§ Mr. MoyleIn my reply of 7th May—[Vol. 873, c.119.]—I outlined the controls that apply for animal health purposes to certain imported raw materials used for animal feeding stuffs. These requirements do not depend on the route that a consignment has taken. I am considering whether any additional safeguards are needed.
