§ Mr. Ameryasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what arrangements she is making to publicise the supplementary benefits payments towards funeral expenses, involving payments towards the cost of a private funeral as announced by the commission on 9th October 1973.
§ Mr. Robert C. BrownThe various changes in its policy on payments towards funeral expenses, details of which were given in the Press announcement of 9th October, will be further publicised by the Supplementary Benefits Commission in a revised edition of the Supplementary Benefits Handbook which I understand is now in preparation, and in information supplied to social workers and others.
