§ Mr. Michael McNair-Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Industry, for the purpose of facilitating public and parliamentary assessment of the Concorde project, if he will publish the criteria established with the French in September 1968 relating to a renegotiation of the Concorde treaty, the dates by which they should be applied and the procedures to be followed which would free the two Governments to consider what action they should take either by agreeing to continue or by deciding not to do so.
§ Mr. BennI take it that the hon. Member is referring to the correspondence which, as the Minister then responsible for Concorde, I had with the French Minister of Transport in 1968. This was a confidential exchange between the two Governments.
