§ Mr. Harold WalkerYes. The Inspectorate meets its obligations to investigate all complaints alleging breaches of the Wages Council Regulations and inspects each year a proportion of establishments in each of the wages council trades.

§ Mr. Harold WalkerThe establishment of the Wages Inspectorate is comprised of the Chief Wages Inspector—with the rank of senior principal—17 senior executive officers, 148 executive and higher executive officers and 88 clerical officers and clerical assistants, a total of 254. At present 242 of these posts are filled.
