§ Mr. Bishopasked the Secretary of State for Defence what area of land in Sherwood Forest is still used for training purposes by Her Majesty's Forces; and how soon he expects to release it for civil use.
§ Mr. MasonAt present the Services use 1,260 acres of leased land in the area of Sherwood Forest; 336 acres have been surrendered to the lessors since April 1973 and we intend that a further 1,184 acres shall be progressively returned to them by the end of 1978.
