HC Deb 21 May 1974 vol 874 c126W
Mr. George Rodgers

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will consider making special financial provision available for those who are purchasing a caravan for residential purposes, as this investment does not qualify for income tax relief.

Mr. Freeson

No special financial provision appears to be necessary for purchasers of caravans for residential purposes in view of the reply given to the hon. Member for Falmouth and Camborne (Mr. Mudd) on 10th April 1974 by my hon. Friend the Financial Secretary to the Treasury.—[Vol. 872, c. 227.]
