HC Deb 21 May 1974 vol 874 c107W
Mr. Atkinson

Qll. asked the Prime Minister if he will make it the practice of his administration that all Members shall have a right to secure through each Minister's private office any reasonably requested information considered necessary by Members in advising and assisting local authorities and other constituents, and that the answers to such advice and information are given priority.

The Prime Minister

It is already the practice of Ministers and their private offices to respond as helpfully and speedily as possible to approaches from hon. Members. If my hon. Friend has experienced any difficulty I suggest he should take it up with the Minister concerned.
