HC Deb 03 May 1974 vol 872 cc339-40W
Mr. Bishop

asked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he is satisfied that the discontinuation of check-in facilities at West London Air Terminal has not inconvenienced passengers.

Mr. Shore

The provision of passenger facilities is essentially a commercial matter which is the responsibility of the British Airways Board. I have been assured that British Airways will cooperate with the Airline Users' Committee and the British Airports Authority in monitoring passenger arrangements both at West London Air Terminal and Heathrow, and that a report on the working of the new arrangements during the Easter holiday and the peak summer period will be made available by the end of the year.
