§ Mr. Hayhoeasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what formal requests have been received from either the TUC or individual trade unions for changes in the law affecting the taxation of union provident funds during the last three years.
§ Dr. GilbertIn its Economic Review for 1974, which was published in March, the TUC urged the continuation of the tax relief on investment income applied to provident funds. I am not aware what representations were made to the preceding administration.
