HC Deb 03 May 1974 vol 872 c587W
Mr. Corrie

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what supplementary benefits are paid for a set number of weeks without reapplying; and for what number of weeks the different benefits are normally paid.

Mr. O'Malley

Providing title to benefit subsists, a continuing award of supplementary pension or allowance under the Supplementary Benefit Act 1966 is normally renewed without requiring the recipient formally to make a new claim.
