Mr. Alan Lee Williamsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if he will make a statement on what representations have been made to him by the National Ports Council on the 315W Seafornt proposal at Maplin; and what was his reply;
(2) what representations have been made to him on the question of the projected seaport at Maplin by the Port of London Authority; and what was his reply.
§ Mr. CroslandThe Port of London Authority has yet to submit detailed proposals for a seaport development at Maplin. When I receive these proposals I shall of course consult the National Ports Council as required under Section 9 of the Harbours Act 1964.
