asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether she will take steps to alleviate the outdoor mobility problems of people with loco-motor disabilities who are too disabled to drive themselves; and whether she will make a statement.

As my hon. Friend knows, the needs of the disabled person who cannot drive are a very important part of the problem dealt with in Lady Sharp's report. I can assure my hon. Friend that they will be fully and sympathically considered in that connection.
