§ Mr. Moateasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the reason for the delay in erecting the speed limit signs at Hartlip Hill on the A2, following the approval of the order; and if he will now give a definite early date for the erection of the signs.
§ Mr. CarmichaelThe order will come into force on 3rd May when the signs will be on display. This is the earliest date by which there can be a supply of electricity to illuminate the signs.
