§ Mrs. Lena Jegerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what consideration she has given to the possible future use of the old Charing Cross Hospital; and whether she will take local views into consideration.
§ Dr. OwenThis building will soon no longer be required for NHS use and action is being taken to dispose of it. Its future use will be determined through the normal planning procedure. Meanwhile, my right hon. Friend is considering a proposal by the GLC to use the building temporarily to house homeless single people and she has asked the GLC to keep in touch with her about its discussions with the local community.
