§ 33. Sir H. Harrisonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is his policy towards encouraging the cultivation of allotments for food in order to attempt to mitigate some of the effects of increased world prices.
§ Mr. PeartI very much welcome efforts to increase domestic food production, including that from allotments and gardens. This goes hand in hand with the Government's policy to encourage the maximum economic production of food in the United Kingdom.
