§ Mr. DellDiscussions with the Building Societies Association were held before Easter and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment made a statement to the House on Wednesday 10th April. The Building Societies Association has subsequently announced its acceptance of the Government's offer of immediate short-term loan facilities of up to £100 million.
