asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a complete list of all Great Britain's overseas territories inhabited or uninhabited.

Dependent Territories

  • Belize
  • Bermuda
  • British Antarctic Territory
  • British Indian Ocean Territory
  • British Solomon Islands Protectorate
  • British Virgin Islands
  • Cayman Islands
  • Falkland Islands and Dependencies
  • Gibraltar
  • Gilbert and Ellice Islands Colony
  • Hong Kong
  • Montserrat
  • New Hebrides (Anglo-French Condominium)
  • Pitcairn Islands Group
  • St. Helena and Dependencies (Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha)
  • Seychelles
  • Turks and Caicos Islands.

Associated States

Under the West Indies Act 1967 the following territories remain Associated States of the United Kingdom:

  • Antigua
  • Dominica
  • St. Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla
  • St. Lucia
  • St. Vincent.

Rhodesia is constitutionally a Dependent Territory but is in a state of rebellion against the Crown.
