§ Mr. EadieNo further assessment, beyond the broad indications already given to the House—most recently by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 26th March—has been made of the cost to the nation of the energy shortage and miners' dispute. By honouring our election pledge and getting the country back to work, we have removed the constraints on production imposed by the last Government.
