§ Mr. BuchanNone has been destroyed. In the year ending 31st January 1974, subsidy was paid on 2,430,624 tons of wheat denatured in this country, of which 317,787 tons were treated with fish oil or dye and used for animal feeding and 2,112,837 tons were incorporated direct into animal feedingstuffs by manufac-214W turers. On 10th February 1974 the denaturing subsidy was reduced to nothing and no denaturing of wheat has taken place since that date.
