§ 26. Mr. Roseasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will take steps to include in any proposed legislation on equal rights for women the securing of equality in respect of women who marry foreign or Commonwealth nationals so as to permit registration of husbands as British citizens unless there are substantial objections personal to the applicant.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI shall consider this when reviewing the law of nationality. I think that is the right context.
