asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will ensure that the plan to establish an explosives dump in 58 acres of Rendlesham Forest to serve the United States Air Force bases at Woodbridge and Bentwaters is not proceeded with without a public inquiry.

The project is being discussed with the local planning authorities; so the question of a public inquiry does not yet arise.
