§ 46. Mr. Grimondasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will take steps to assist pensioners and people with low incomes dependent upon diesel, paraffin, &c., for lighting, cooking and heating, who cannot pay the high costs for these fuels.
§ Mrs. CastleWe are proposing increases in pensions and other benefits which will provide substantial additional income for those most vulnerable to price rises.
