asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if there have been any changes in the plans for dual carriageways between Exeter and Launceston and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Carmichael

There are no plans at present to change the standards of road improvement between Exeter and Okehampton; studies are still proceeding on standards of improvement between Okehampton and Launceston.
