Sir Geoffrey de Freitasasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he has studied the letter of 15th March from the chief executive of the Northamptonshire County Council pointing out that the decision announced in his letter of 14th March prescribing a flat rate of domestic relief will result in rises of between 30 and 68 per cent. for these ratepayers; and whether he will receive a deputation of county councillors to discuss the matter.
