HC Deb 18 March 1974 vol 870 c41W
Sir J. Langford-Holt

asked the Secretary of State for Energy what conclusions he has reached on the improvements in productivity of industrial plant that can be achieved by the installation of sealed recirculatory cooling and the consequent elimination of periods of inactivity for maintenance.

Mr. Meacher

I have been asked to reply.

I have reached no general conclusions although some work has been done by the National Engineering Laboratory. Perhaps the hon. Member would like to write to me if he has further proposals to make.
