HC Deb 18 March 1974 vol 870 cc41-2W
Mr. Money

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he is satisfied with regard to the continued safety of British subjects and interests in Grenada; and whether he will make a statement.

Miss Lestor

I have received no reports that the safety of United Kingdom belongers in Grenada, who now number about 100, or of British interests has been threatened. The British High Commissioner and members of his staff accredited to Grenada are in touch with the British community. I do not believe they are in danger.
